Burials

A tradition that carries deep meaning

Burial is often shaped by culture, faith, or family legacy, a way of honouring life that carries weight beyond the service itself. We support families across Perth and WA with both traditional and eco-friendly burial choices, offering calm, respectful guidance through every step.

From selecting a plot to coordinating the ceremony, we ensure the process is clear, dignified, and handled with care, whatever tradition or personal wish is shaping the farewell.

Consultations are available in person or remotely, including weekends and after-hours. We can meet you at home, in care, or wherever you feel most at ease. Every arrangement is clearly documented, with a digital or printed copy provided for peace of mind.

A Burial That Reflects Your Wishes

For many families, burial offers something a service alone can’t, a lasting, physical place to visit, reflect, and stay connected. It’s one of the oldest and most enduring ways to say goodbye.

We’re here to help you choose the right cemetery, understand your options, and shape a service that feels true to your values and cultural needs.

Which option is right for your family?

Burials can be shaped to suit your personal, cultural, family traditions or environmental preferences:

  • Traditional Circle — a chapel service followed by graveside service and interment
  • Honoured Circle — a graveside service and interment
  • Essential Circle — a quiet, unattended interment
  • Natural or eco‑friendly burial — simpler materials, minimal environmental impact
  • Religious or cultural burial rites — coordinated respectfully with your community
  • Private or family‑led farewells — intimate, simple, and personal

If you’re unsure which option feels right, we’ll sit with you, listen, and walk through your options at your own pace, so you can decide what truly fits.

Who This is For?

  • You’re arranging a funeral for a loved one and want each option explained clearly, without pressure or jargon
  • You’re planning ahead for yourself and want to understand what a cremation actually involves
  • You want a moment of presence, but not the formality of a full ceremony
  • You want the complete gathered farewell — chapel, celebrant, tributes
  • You’ve decided against a formal service, but still want everything handled properly
  • You’re comparing cremation and burial and want an honest explanation of what each involves (see our Cremations page)

If death hasn’t yet arrived, there’s still time to plan. Booking our End-of-Life Plan lets you make these decisions yourself, while you’re here to make them, rather than leaving your family to guess later.

Do you need a service at all?

Some families want the full traditional burial service. Others want the quiet dignity of a 30-minute viewing. Some want no formal service at all, just a Direct burial, with a memorial gathering held later, in their own time, on their own terms.

If a service isn’t wanted, that doesn’t mean nothing needs to be planned. There are still legal and practical details to manage properly, which is exactly what we’re here for. If it would help to think through those wishes in more depth beforehand, our End-of-Life Funeral Planning service exists for exactly that.
